OUR VISION

"The ROL will be a leader in community programs for children and youth of all ages. We strive to be the best, the most innovative and cutting edge in the areas we serve. ROL will be a place where children and youth experience:

  • Positive reinforcement, leading to the development of self-confidence, which is critical to success throughout life

  • Support and programming to help increasing numbers of working and single-parents deal with growing stress and demands on time, including child care, recreation options and family-oriented activities

  • A value-based structure where children learn that character, honesty, responsibility and respect are important

  • Preventative programs to address critical social problems and dysfunction in families and communities

  • Access to resources, role models and constructive options for teens, who face daily decisions and challenges

  • The promotion of healthy lifestyles for the entire family"

Reach Out For Life (ROL) Youth Foundation of the I-80 Corridor

Reach Out for Life Youth Foundation is an organization founded by Jackie Evans and established to meet the health & Social service needs of families in the I-80 Corridor region. Our programs provide resources for people of all faiths, races, abilities, ages and incomes. Diverse programs focus on early child hood, school age children, and youth fitness and recreation.

Volunteer
Since its beginning, the ROL Youth Foundation has been intended to be a volunteer-supported organization. Civic-minded individuals contribute their time, experience and wisdom, and the ROL benefits from their knowledge. Our Board is a volunteer board whose members serve to formulate policy for the ROL Youth Foundation, and more than 40 people are employed by our organization.

ROL Divisions:

  • Ivy League Before & After School Programs
  • Ivy League Summer Camp
  • Little Dribblers Basketball
  • Ivy League Montessori Preschool & Kindergarten

ROL Mission and Values

The Reach Out for Life Youth Foundation is guided by a strongly held sense of mission and values. The mission - to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all – is at the forefront of all we do. Likewise, ROL culture and programming are grounded in our four core values:

  • Respect - All people have worth and value
  • Caring - We are sensitive and nurturing
  • Responsibility - We use our resources to serve the diverse community
  • Honesty - We trust and earn the trust of other

The ROL knows that the future depends on the strength of our children, our families and our communities. So while children have fun at the ROL, they are also participants in activities that develop character and the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility that stay with them for a lifetime. This is the ROL difference.

ROL was created to serve the community. Providing programs for children and adults is part of the ROL’s charitable mission. We help people develop as a whole and complete human being. Our programs and activities are dedicated to building strong spirit and mind as well as body.
